Our romantic shepherd’s hut in the heart of Snowdonia offers the ultimate glamping experience! After a good night’s sleep in a comfortable double bed what could be better than waking up to the gorgeous view of the river Seiont which flows from Snowdon down to the Menai Straits at the castle town of Caernarfon. Historically, Shepherd’s Huts were mobile structures used by shepherds during sheep raising and lambing. Our shepherd’s hut has been built by a local master craftsman and has been positioned on a prime location on our site. Looking out on the water, it has its own private decking as well as the use of the Cil y Bont Caravan and Motorhome Club’s site facilities. Inside the spacious Llety’r Bugail shepherd’s hut is a comfy sofa where you can relax and catch glimpses of the wildlife along the banks of the river. There is also a microwave and two rings for cooking, a fridge freezer and a sink, if you do not fancy sampling the food at the excellent village chip shop or pub. Llety’r Bugail shepherd’s hut is heated, has Wi-fi and you will find a Welcome Pack on your arrival. It is open all year round with a minimum stay of two nights. Prices start from £70 a night. Staying in a shepherd’s hut provides a truly unique holiday experience, so if you decide to enjoy some of the many activities available in the surrounding area, or if you want to sit on the deck and watch the meandering river as the sun sets then our Llety’r Bugail is the place for you!
