Cil y Bont is set in a rural location but is still close to all the attractions that North Wales has to offer, enabling you to explore the mountains, the coastline and the heritage of the area. A tarmac drive guides you to the level campsite set on two fields. On one side is the river Seiont which flows from Snowdon down to the Menai Straits at the castle town of Caernarfon. Fishing permits are available on site. On the other side there is a view of the mountains where Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, can be clearly seen. We have grass pitches with electric hook ups. The TV reception is good, and we have WI-FI. The site has a new toilet and shower block with disabled facilities. Here you will also find separate sink units for crockery as well as a washing machine. We are pet friendly and are open all year round. You can book and arrive on any day of the week which means that you can avoid peak traffic times. At Cil y Bont Caravan Site your daily cares will seem very far away as you enjoy some of the many activities available in the surrounding area. These include walking, climbing, fishing, golf, canoeing, paddle boarding, pony trekking, zip wiring, paint balling and Segway riding. There are also castles to be visited, steam trains to ride on, and a slate museum to learn about the history of the area. The site is less than 10 minutes away from the town of Caernarfon with its magnificent 13th Century Castle, small independent shops and excellent choice of bars and restaurants. |
